Among mountain retreats in the Eastern Sierra, the Mammoth Mountain Chalets are the ultimate setting for a relaxing family vacation, friend’s trip, or romantic getaway.
Located just steps from Mammoth Mountain, the cabins are truly ski-in ski-out with hiking and biking trails out your front door in the summer and fall.
The location is the best family friendly lodging in Mammoth and many units are pet friendly. Each cabin is individually decorated making them truly unique, cozy, and comfortable.
While all of the chalets have the same basic amenities, they vary in size and feel. Small cabins are perfect for romantic getaways and smaller groups, while the medium and large cabins are ideal for a group or family reunion in Mammoth. Once you find your favorite configuration, you’ll likely return to the same Mammoth Mountain Chalet year after year.

Nestled in the woods above Main Lodge, each Mammoth Mountain Chalet has a wood deck with a beautiful view of the mountain or surrounding forest.
All the Comforts of Home
All of the cabins have a dining room, and fully equipped kitchen including cooking utensils and dinnerware. Fireplaces or wood burning stoves add a warm and cozy glow to your Mammoth cabin.
Modern Conveniences You Expect
All bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer are provided for your convenience. Each unit has TV with cable, DVR, and a DVD player as well as complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access.
Outdoor Amenities
Many cabins have barbecues, but for those that don’t one can be provided upon request. If you have a question or need something while staying at Mammoth Mountain Chalets, the onsite managers are there for you and are committed to making your stay the best vacation ever.
Small Cabins
In addition to the cozy environment and amenities provided in all of the cabins, the small size chalets have a private bedroom and bathroom downstairs with a loft upstairs with a sink.
Medium Cabins
The medium size chalets provide ample space for the whole family or group. Each medium chalet has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with one bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and two bedrooms with another bathroom downstairs.
Large Cabins
The large size chalets have a number of configurations and range from three to five bedrooms with two to three bathrooms. These cabins typically have a larger living room and kitchen than the medium size units and are ideal for larger groups.

Our Cancellation Policy
Please read carefully before booking.
To confirm a reservation, the entire rental fee is due at time of reservation. A guest may cancel or change a reservation 21 days or more prior to the arrival date for a fee of $ 75.00. Please note there is NO REFUND if canceling within 21 Days of your arrival, unless the chalet can be re‐rented or special consideration is granted due to a COVID 19 infection as discussed below. If the Chalet can be re‐rented, credit will be paid, reflecting the re‐rented nights rental revenue less $75.00.
RESERVATIONS MADE WITHIN 21 DAYS OF ARRIVAL ARE CONSIDERED TO BE NON‐ REFUNDABLE, NON‐CHANGEABLE.
Special consideration may be given on a case-by-case basis if you or someone in your group becomes infected with COVID and can provide a positive COVID 19 test together with a note from a licensed physician verifying the illness. If this should happen, please notify the Chalets office immediately so onsite management can present your situation for special consideration approval. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against loss of reservation payment due to cancellation. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving early, even if caused by unforeseen weather conditions, road closure because of wind and snow, or other natural causes.
