We’ll be selling popcorn and some other treats and hope you’ll join us in person for a fun day… and a fabulous raffle. Grand prize is two 4-day Early Entry Brews Passes to Bluesapalooza! Mammoth Caldera Burn

Lung–burning fun for all at the Mammoth Caldera Burn – a ski mountaineering challenge. Starting from Canyon Lodge, participants will skin their way through multiple ascents on Mammoth Mountain to complete this battle against themselves and the terrain. Ski mountaineering (ski mo), a high-altitude up and down challenge imported from Europe, is rapidly becoming one of the hottest new winter sports in North America. The Recreational course is perfect for backcountry skiers of any skill level interested in learning new aspect of the sport. The Elite course is designed to showcase Mammoth's steep, technical skiing.

Annual Pond Skim

Crowds fill up the slopes outside Canyon Lodge to watch the craziest costumed skiers and snowboarders straight-line it across an ice cold, 100+ foot pond. This is the most entertaining event you’ll see all season.

The first 50 competitors in line who are fully dressed in costumes will get a coveted spot in the 2022 skim competition.

You must BE IN COSTUME at registration to secure your place; no costume = no entry. Participants under 18 must have a parent present to consent and sign their release.

Celebrate Easter with your family at Mammoth. Join in one of our Easter festivities, snap a photo with the Easter Bunny and spot Woolly wearing his bunny ears during the Annual Easter Parade in The Village. Keep an eye out for Woolly, the Easter Bunny and friends. They will be cruising the mountain all day.
